The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating sites suitable for BESS and solar projects, developing strategies for land leases/acquisitions, and negotiating easements/leases with project landowners.
Key Responsibilities:- Site Identification and Evaluation: Identify and evaluate sites suitable for BESS and solar projects, taking into account factors such as land ownership, zoning regulations, and environmental impact.
- Land Lease and Acquisition Strategies: Develop and implement strategies for land leases/acquisitions, including greenfield projects, ongoing projects, and project acquisitions.
- Easement and Lease Negotiation: Negotiate and secure easements/leases for BESS and solar development, including related agreements with project landowners.
- Collaboration with Legal Team: Collaborate with the legal team to ensure the delivery of accurate and complete agreements.
- Project Management: Organize documents, records, and files related to each project and landowner assigned to the land agent.
- Project Development Support: Engage with and support the project development manager, staying updated on applicable regulations related to battery and solar project development.
- Project Ownership: Take ownership of assigned projects, including managing deadlines, objectives, timelines, and success criteria.
- Background in Energy Development: Background in energy development, specifically the project development process.
