About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Operations to join our team at Devon County Council. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operation of our future Devon and Torbay Combined County Authority.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for setting direction and strategic priorities, working closely with local authorities, stakeholders, and partners to drive positive change and deliver on our ambitious goals. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the creation and mobilisation of one of the first Combined County Authorities in the country.
