Logistics Manager Job Description

**Job Summary**

1st Step Solutions is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team in West London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on large M&E contractors and MEP plant movement.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Mobilization and traffic management to ensure smooth site operations
* Material management, movement plans, and integration with key contractors
* Delivery management, logistics supplier management, and record keeping
* Adhering to safety policies, ensuring adequate safety equipment, and creating safety manuals
* Signage organization and delivery management
* Vehicles, plant, equipment, and vertical transport management
* Risk assessments, site waste management, and environmental reporting

**Requirements**

* Previous experience in construction management or logistics
* Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and IT systems
* CSCS card and relevant certifications (SSSTS, SMSTS, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, IPAF, First Aid, Banksman/Traffic Marshall)
* Experienced in managing suppliers (scaffolding, temporary electrics, plumbing, welfare, and office accommodation)
