Critical Care Medical Device Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Medical Device Specialist to join our team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our critical care department, you will play a vital role in providing technical support and expertise to our clinical staff.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a critical care environment and be able to effectively repair and maintain a range of medical devices. You will work closely with our workshop engineers and imaging physicists to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support and advice to clinical staff on the use and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Troubleshooting problems with medical devices at the bedside.
- Assisting with the development of protocols and procedures for equipment use.
- Maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Repairing and performing planned maintenance on medical equipment.
- Evaluating new medical devices and supporting their implementation in clinical settings.
