Critical Care Opportunity at London Bridge Hospital

This is an exceptional chance for a Resident Doctor to join our team at London Bridge Hospital, specialists in complex care. Our hospital is part of HCA Healthcare UK, one of the largest private healthcare providers in the UK.

Job Role and Responsibilities

  • Support consultants in the day-to-day Critical Care Ward and ITU units, providing medical care to inpatients from admission to discharge.
  • Independently manage the medical care of inpatients, including clerking new admissions, daily ward rounds, and responding to medical emergencies.
  • Deliver medical procedures as required, including vascular access, airway management, and pain management.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, audits, and training to improve patient care and staff development.

Requirements

  • MBBS medical qualification
  • Fully registered with the GMC and current licence to practice
  • Post-graduate qualification FRCA/ FICM/ MRCEM/MRCP or equivalent
  • NHS Trained Intensive care medicine or Anaesthesia to ST3 and above
  • Able to manage complex airways competently and train others
  • Able to demonstrate teaching and mentoring of junior doctors
  • Current ALS certificate
