About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will work with children who have been diagnosed with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) in a specialist school in Oxford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and provide specific interventions to aid in the children's learning
- Facilitate a safe and secure environment for learning to take place
- Encourage students to achieve the best they can academically, while also adding to their personal growth
- Keep track of their academic achievements
- Have a good understanding of the importance of safeguarding
