Chief Mechanical Construction Project Engineer

The Energy Division at Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Construction Engineer to join a world-leading nuclear defence client based out of a secure site in the North West region.
Job Overview:
The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site. The plant will play a vital role in Sellafield's clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the site and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building.
- Management and coordination of all elements of mechanical plant and equipment installation.
- Processing isometrics and drawings in accordance with project requirements and issuing construction packages to the installation supervisors, including availability of approved RAMS, permits, and lifting plans.
- Coordinating plant and equipment installation, inclusive of sub-contract activities and ensuring all scaffolding and tools are available.
- Reviewing and reporting the weekly progress against the programme with the M, E & I Installation Manager.
Key Requirements:
- Experience of fulfilling a mechanical engineering role on construction projects.
- Previous experience of project delivery on a nuclear licensed site.
- Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering (minimum HNC).
