About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Sanctions Compliance Manager to join our team at Haleon. As a key member of our compliance function, you will be responsible for leading our sanctions compliance program and ensuring that our business operations are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sanctions compliance strategy that aligns with Haleon's business objectives and risk appetite.
    • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure that sanctions compliance is integrated into all aspects of our business operations.
  • Operational Management
    • Manage a globally dispersed team of sanctions compliance professionals and ensure that they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of sanctions compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.
    • Ensure that all sanctions compliance activities are conducted in accordance with Haleon's policies and procedures.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate sanctions-related risks to Haleon's business operations.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure that sanctions compliance risks are managed effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, legal, risk, and compliance teams.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on sanctions compliance activities and risks to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Essential
    • Proven experience in sanctions compliance, preferably in a global organization.
    • Strong knowledge of sanctions laws and regulations, including OFAC and EU sanctions.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate sanctions-related risks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
