About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring high standards of care and supporting their development.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead by example.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and promoting the well-being of residents.
