Job Title: Residential Care Manager
Location: Wolverhampton

We are seeking an experienced Residential Care Manager to lead and manage our new 2-bed residential home in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and services to vulnerable children, with a focus on emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Responsibilities:
  1. To oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and legislation.
  2. To lead and manage the staff team, providing training, guidance, and support to deliver exceptional care and services.
  3. To develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child, working closely with families and external stakeholders.
  4. To build strong relationships with children, families, and external partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  5. To ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and support for children in our care.
Requirements:
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years' experience managing a children's residential home, preferably with a focus on EBD.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children's home legislation.
  • Demonstrable experience in working with children with EBD, including developing and implementing care plans.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of children.
  • Full UK driving license.
