Job Overview

Amber Petroleum trading as Inver Energy is seeking an experienced Shop Assistant for our service station in Gort Road, Ennis. This is a part-time position, requiring availability for varying shifts (mornings and evenings).

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Manage point of sale processes and actively participate in receiving deliveries.
  • Stay up-to-date with product information and new product lines.
  • Prepare food neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner for fresh food sales.
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and properly stocked display units, coolers, work areas, storage areas, and public use seating areas.
  • Assist with monthly inventory as needed and perform related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point of sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
  • Availability for varying shifts, including mornings and evenings.
