About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Security Manager to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, vendors, and associates at various events across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement customized security plans for large-scale events and smaller private functions.
  • Collaborate with Amazon Studios and third-party production stakeholders to design and develop physical security operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon Content, Legal, and Risk requirements.
  • Manage and report incidents, prepare statements, and follow up on reports in accordance with Amazon Policy.
  • Oversee event security assessment programs and leverage external and internal partners for timely threat/risk evaluations and responses.
  • Support event, marketing, and public relations departments while maintaining security standards.
  • Manage budget, payment accounts, and balances, and initiate correspondence as necessary to ensure timely payment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of 10+ years of management experience in a security, law enforcement, or military discipline.
  • Experience with vendor management and a diverse range of services background.
  • Experience with project management and working independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with senior company leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to travel on short notice for domestic and international projects up to 50% of the year.
  • High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Film and Television security experience preferred.
  • Red Carpet/Public Event security and safety experience.
  • Experience researching, gathering, and analyzing structured event data/trends.
