Event Manager for EMEA Markets

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to support our EMEA Marketing team in creating event experiences that delight, inspire, and educate our audiences. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of full-time experience planning a range of events across EMEA for multiple audiences in a fast-paced environment, preferably at a technology company.

  • Develop and execute strategic event marketing plans that align with our EMEA marketing goals, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.
  • Collaborate with Field Marketing, Sales, Communications, Design, and many other teams to support building and managing a top-notch EMEA events program for Stripe.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies, vendors, third-party event organizers, and internal teams to plan and execute in-person events.
  • Manage event administration, including contracts, raising POs, managing vendors, and updating various team reporting documents.
  • Assist with developing digital and print presentations and communications materials.
  • Help develop new event ideas, concepts, processes, and formats, ensuring consistency and creativity throughout all event touchpoints.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of full-time experience planning a range of events across EMEA for multiple audiences in a fast-paced environment, preferably at a technology company.
  • Good understanding of tech conferences in EMEA and working with marketing and sales teams to coordinate and execute events.
  • Good knowledge of venues across EMEA spanning various event formats.
  • Strong event project management and administration skills.
  • A relentless commitment to focusing on the details and staying hyper-organized.
  • Superb communication.
  • Independent way of working and high motivation.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • An events background and 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong familiarity with tech events happening across Europe.
  • Experience effectively managing stakeholders, fostering strong relationships, and maintaining open lines of communication to achieve shared event goals.
  • Proficiency in managing digital event assets (email, website, branding assets, etc.) and setting up and managing event registration pages.
  • Enthusiasm for trying out new things and suggesting ways to improve and elevate our current events strategy and formats.
  • A knack for writing clear and concise documentation.
  • Experience collaborating and coordinating directly with marketing and sales teams.
