About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Security Manager to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing customized security plans for large-scale events and smaller private functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security plans for events, ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including event organizers, vendors, and law enforcement agencies, to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Conduct risk assessments and threat evaluations to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and coordinate security personnel, including contractors and law enforcement agencies, to ensure effective event security.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including event organizers, vendors, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon's security policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of 10+ years of management experience in a security, law enforcement, or military discipline.
  • Experience with vendor management and diverse range of services background.
  • Experience with project management and working independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with senior company leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to travel on short notice for domestic and international projects up to 50% of the year.
  • High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Film and Television security experience preferred.
  • Red Carpet/Public Event security and safety experience.
  • Experience researching, gathering, and analyzing structured event data/trends.
