Maintenance Officer

Westerton Care Home is seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team on a permanent basis.
We are a luxury and modern care home providing high-quality Residential, Dementia, Respite & Nursing care for 106 residents. As a Maintenance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the building and equipment are maintained to a high standard, ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents and staff.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
- Inspect and identify issues with control panels, electrical wiring, and safety systems
- Install and maintain appliances and equipment
- Conduct regular garden and yard upkeep, including mowing lawns and collecting trash
- Check and replace light bulbs, and maintain, service, and clean equipment
- Inspect and repair damages to building surfaces
- Participate in projects such as renovations and report to the facilities or maintenance manager for issues
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
