Grants Manager: American Friends Service Committee

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Manager to join our Development Department at the American Friends Service Committee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the operational, administrative, and stewardship functions of the grants unit.
Key Responsibilities- Manage grant award allocation, distribution, and internal characterization in coordination with Regional Controller(s) and Donor Services Staff.
- Monitor and track grant revenue and projections for the Grant Unit, providing analysis for revenue projections/goals, program budgets/revisions, and requests for transfers of funds.
- Prepare and distribute grant income reports on a regular basis, including actual and projected income and balances remaining on pledges.
- Oversee day-to-day management of the grant unit, providing general administration, data tracking, staff management, and technology needs.
- Develop and maintain standard grant management procedures and provide ongoing communication and training for grant unit staff.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent critical thinking and project management skills.
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of fundraising software (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office.
- Demonstrated experience in database management.
- Attentiveness to detail and accuracy in data entry, reporting, and writing.
- Ability to understand and interpret financial reports, analyze financial data, and understand the principles and philosophy of the American Friends Service Committee.
