KS1 Primary School Teacher Vacancy

We are recruiting an experienced and skilled Primary School Teacher to fill the role of KS1 Primary School Teacher at our school in Greenwich.

The selected candidate will receive £48,000 - £62,000 per annum, alongside an excellent range of benefits. As a KS1 Primary School Teacher, you will contribute significantly to the academic and personal growth of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of KS1 students, promoting academic achievement and social development.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to educate students in various subjects, including maths, English, and science.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student participation and engagement.
  • Effectively manage student behavior and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies, promoting a culture of respect and responsibility.
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Regularly assess student progress through evaluations and assignments, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance and progress, keeping them informed and involved.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience, sharing best practices and expertise.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Education or a related field, providing a strong foundation for teaching and learning.
  • QTS, ECT, or PGCE qualification, demonstrating your commitment to delivering high-quality education.
  • A valid teaching certification/license, ensuring you meet the necessary standards for teaching in the UK.
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices, informing your teaching approach and decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and behavior, creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching, driving your dedication to making a positive impact on students' lives.
