Lead AV Installation Engineer

Job Summary:

Concept is seeking a highly skilled Lead AV Installation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for leading the installation of AV systems, ensuring high-quality results, and meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation of AV systems, including video conferencing and audio visual systems.
  • Manage and motivate a project team to ensure timely completion of installations.
  • Ensure that systems are installed to the required standard and meet client expectations.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to plan and execute installations.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to overcome installation challenges.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure that all installations are completed to the required standard.

Requirements:

  • CTS Qualified would be an advantage.
  • Strong ability to work alone and on own initiative.
  • Ability to carry out installation activities on time and to the required standard.
  • Be organized, flexible, and able to overcome challenges during the working day.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Have a good understanding of 1st and 2nd fix AV installations.
  • Have excellent soldering, crimp, and terminating skills.
  • Be able to work from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans, and projector drawings.
  • Have strong mechanical skills.
  • Experience and understanding of control systems, AMX/Crestron would be an advantage.
  • Experience and understanding of Video Conferencing systems would be an advantage.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience of production and wiring methods and carried out previous installation work in the AV industry.
  • A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
