Lead AV Installation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AV Installation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for leading the installation of complex AV systems, ensuring that they are installed to the highest standard and meet the client's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation of AV systems, including video conferencing, audio visual, and digital signage solutions.
  • Work closely with project managers and senior engineers to ensure that installations are completed on time and to budget.
  • Manage and motivate a team of installation engineers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that all installations meet the required quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and trends to ensure that our installations are always at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements:

  • CTS Qualified would be an advantage.
  • Strong ability to work alone and on own initiative.
  • Ability to carry out installation activities on time and to the required standard.
  • Be organized, flexible and able to overcome challenges during the working day.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • To have a good understanding of 1st and 2nd fix AV installations.
  • Have excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skills.
  • To be able to work from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and projector drawings.
  • Have strong mechanical skills.
  • Experience and understanding of control systems, AMX/Crestron would be an advantage.
  • Experience and understanding of Video Conferencing systems would be an advantage.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience of production and wiring methods and carried out previous installation work in the AV industry.
  • A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
