About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to join our team at South Staffordshire PLC. As a key member of our fleet management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the fleeting of vehicles to minimize additional rentals and optimize fleet utilization.
  • Update and maintain accurate fleet lists, including vehicle details, location, driver information, tracking data, and leasing provider details.
  • Efficiently manage supplier networks to control costs and minimize downtime.
  • Procure new vehicles and vehicle kit outs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Inform company car drivers prior to renewal of existing cars, aligning with industry lead times.
  • Manage account relationships for SSI Divisional companies and external customers, including budget management and relationship-building.
  • Coordinate vehicle service plans for timely maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide effective reporting and management information on the TRACKER system, handle warranty claims, and offer administrative support for the Fleet Service Department.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Group Divisions, dealerships, suppliers, manufacturers, and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with scheduled service, MOTs, and repair programs.
  • Oversee accident repairs to reduce costs and manage the de-fleet process for efficiency and cost control.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on TRANMAN daily.
Requirements
  • Desirable experience within the Motor Industry.
  • Proven experience within a customer service environment, both face-to-face and telephone.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, tailored to different audiences.
  • Attention to detail to prevent errors and ensure accuracy.
  • Professional attitude and demeanor.
