Support Worker for Children with Complex Needs

At Caremark Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex needs.
About the RoleThis role involves providing one-to-one support to children living in their own homes, residential settings, or supported living environments. As a Support Worker, you will empower them to maintain their independence, while ensuring their safety, happiness, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Wellbeing: Support children in making positive choices about their health, including healthy eating, exercise, and personal care.
- Leisure and Social Activities: Engage children in activities they enjoy, promoting social interaction and community participation.
- Daily Living Skills: Assist children with daily tasks, such as planning outings, attending appointments, shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
- Safeguarding: Uphold the rights and dignity of children with learning disabilities and other complex needs, protecting them from abuse or exploitation.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records and reports, dispense and record medications, and perform other administrative tasks.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 1 year of experience working with children with complex needs.
- A valid driving licence.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, company pension, and opportunities for career development.
Working HoursThis is a full-time position, working day shifts.
