Support Worker Specialist

Ambient Support Limited is seeking a Support Worker Specialist to join our team, providing vital support to individuals in need. This role offers a rewarding career path, with opportunities for growth and development.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting residents to achieve their goals, promoting independence and well-being. Your duties will include providing social and emotional support, assisting with daily tasks, and engaging in activities with residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them build and maintain relationships.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support residents with their shopping and budgeting, ensuring they have access to essential items.
- Carry out household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Engage in activities with residents, promoting social interaction and a sense of belonging.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must be a caring and empathetic individual, able to build strong relationships with residents. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as well as computer literacy.
