Are you a highly motivated and skilled individual looking for a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Training Coordinator at HMP Wymott, as part of our Ministry of Justice team. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering training programs to prisoners in the engineering machining workshop.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of engineering principles, along with supervisory experience and knowledge of industrial machinery. A Level 3 qualification in a related subject is also required.

Your duties will include planning and delivering training sessions, mentoring prisoners, assessing their progress, and ensuring they meet production targets. Strong communication and leadership skills are vital for this position.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of around £40,500 per year (£38-45k range). You can expect a regular working schedule of 37 hours per week.
