About the Role:

Gowling WLG is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our Procurement team in Birmingham. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing framework agreements under the Government's public procurement organisation (CCS) and subcontracts for service delivery.

You will serve as a single point of contact for support related to framework call-off templates and schedules, contract clauses, and queries about framework agreements.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in managing Government contracts and procurement frameworks. You should have excellent awareness and understanding of government framework agreements and procurement processes.

As a successful Contract Manager, you will leverage your organisational skills, planning, and self-organisation to meet objectives and targets. Your work approach should be adaptable, embracing change and operating effectively across diverse situations while striving for improvement and forward-thinking.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial for this position, ensuring effective collaboration with colleagues and external entities. You will also need the confidence to lead and engage in stakeholder contract performance discussions with government clients, both internally and externally.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Educated to Degree Level or have relevant management experience.
  • CIPS qualified or equivalent degree/diploma in a relevant subject.
  • Knowledge of English Contract Law, and Government procurement regulations.
