Job Title: Procurement Consultant

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Procurement Consultant, working in a small team of 4, delivering a range of procurement projects for various customers across the private, public and 3rd sectors, with a key focus on social housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a range of procurement projects, including tender management, full procurement outsourcing, spend reviews, category strategy formulation / management and training.
  • Specialising in key categories such as Property & Construction, FM & Maintenance, Assets, IT & Telco, Energy and more.
  • Developing and delivering solutions that will help procurement leaders understand their pain points and identify opportunities for cost savings.

What We Offer:

  • A base salary of circa £50-55k.
  • A commission structure that sees you benefit from the growth of your accounts, with a realistic target of £10k and uncapped potential.
  • A car allowance of £4,800 per year.
  • A pension scheme with 5% matched contributions.
  • Mileage allowance.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, with the option to buy / sell a maximum of 5 additional.
  • Single Private Medical cover after probation period, with the option to add family cover at additional cost.
  • A home-based role, with all business travel reimbursed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of delivering large scale procurement activities, including under OJEU/FTS/PCR2015 regulations.
  • A confident negotiator with the ability to develop and close on solution-based opportunities.
  • Previous experience of, or a willingness to undertake, account development in a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A strong project management, time management and organisational skills.
  • CIPS Level 5 qualified or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving license and the ability to travel and stay overnight where needed.
