Job Title: Procurement Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Consultant to join our team at Eden Blake Procurement & Supply Chain Search. As a Procurement Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering a range of procurement projects for various clients across the private, public, and 3rd sectors, with a focus on social housing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver procurement projects for clients, including tender management, full procurement outsourcing, spend reviews, category strategy formulation / management, and training.
- Specialize in key categories such as Property & Construction, FM & Maintenance, Assets, IT & Telco, Energy, and others.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their pain points and delivering solutions that meet their needs.
- Work closely with procurement leaders to identify and deliver solutions that drive business value.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, increasing revenue streams through consultative selling.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale procurement activities, including OJEU/FTS/PCR2015 regulations.
- Confident negotiator with the ability to develop and close solution-based opportunities.
- Previous experience in account development in complex stakeholder environments.
- Highly engaging and credible personality, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- CIPS Level 5 qualified or equivalent, with a full UK driving license and ability to travel.
What We Offer:
- Base salary of circa £50-55k.
- Commission structure with uncapped potential.
- Car allowance of £4,800 per year.
- Pension with 5% matched contributions.
- Mileage allowance.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays, with the option to buy / sell additional days.
- Single Private Medical cover after probation period.
- Home-based role with all business travel reimbursed.
