Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team in Crawley. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care, guidance, and support to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to residents in their daily activities, promoting independence and self-esteem.
  • Develop positive and trusting relationships with residents, implementing individual care plans and support strategies tailored to each resident's specific needs.
  • Encourage and facilitate resident participation in recreational, social, and educational activities, promoting a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure comprehensive and person-centered care, adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in children's support work, preferably within a residential setting.
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently, with flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and learning, with a UK driving license.
