Job Title: Therapy Program Assistant

The Cambian Group Plc is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to assist in delivering therapy programs and supporting young people with special needs.

This role involves working closely with the Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) teams to develop and implement effective therapy plans.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with the OT and SaLT teams to assess communication needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of a conducive Communication and Sensory Environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Support individual young people or groups, focusing on their specific needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance communication and sensory experiences.
  • Assist in assessing communication needs and reporting progress.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with young people, preferably those with special needs.
  • Experience working with ASD, LD, and/or CAMHS is highly desirable.
  • A genuine interest in developing young people's communication and functional skills.
