About the Role
We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel as an Academic SEN Tutor. This is a unique opportunity to work with 85 pupils who have complex and severe learning needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for special education and the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
This role includes planning and delivering lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of each student, as well as overseeing aspects of education such as pastoral care and community-based learning. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Teaching 11 students across Year 10 and 11 in a class setting.
  • Developing a personalised curriculum for each student instead of following the national curriculum.
  • Oversight of Entry Level Functional Skills qualifications for up to 4 pupils.
