About the Role

Our work focuses on three key areas of public mental health: promoting mental well-being, preventing mental health problems and suicide, and supporting recovery and inclusion for individuals living with mental health challenges.

Suicide is a significant issue in the UK, leading to thousands of deaths each year. We are dedicated to reducing these tragedies through prevention, support, and advocacy.

About You

We seek a passionate and experienced individual to lead our efforts in public mental health. You will have a deep understanding of the challenges facing individuals with mental health conditions and a commitment to improving their lives.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote mental well-being, prevent suicide, and support recovery. You will also work closely with partners across the community to create a more supportive environment for those affected by mental illness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote mental well-being and prevent suicide.
  • Provide leadership and support to our team of public health professionals.
  • Collaborate with partners across the community to create a more supportive environment for individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Advocate for policies and programs that improve mental health outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

You will have a strong background in public health, social work, or a related field. You will also have experience working with individuals with mental health conditions and a commitment to improving their lives.
