Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team in Chelmsford. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity and ensuring accurate inventory accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global company, supporting four Business Units within Teledyne UK Ltd.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain financial integrity of inventory accounts, including processing periodic financial transactions and account reconciliations
  2. Coordinate standard cost accounting processes and updates, working closely with purchasing, planning, and logistics teams
  3. Support physical inventory counts and provide guidance on manufacturing procedures to ensure inventory accounting requirements are met
About You
  • A qualified Accountant with a minimum of four years' experience in inventory accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail

The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to work, be able to work autonomously, and possess a continuous improvement mindset. A SC Security Clearance is also required.
