Skill Development Opportunity in logistics and supply chain management with Prime Appointments. We are currently seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our client's team in Chelmsford, Essex. This is an excellent chance to build your knowledge and skills in stock management, inventory control, and logistics operations.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team environment. A forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £26,000pa, with performance-based bonuses and 23 days annual leave. The duties of the Inventory Coordinator include:

* Coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory
* Monitoring and controlling inventory levels to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions
* Collaborating with the warehouse team to achieve business objectives
* Performing basic testing of returned goods to identify any faults or defects
* Completing any other tasks assigned by the warehouse team leader, including picking orders and stock checks.
