About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a talented Inventory Operations Assistant to join our team in Chelmsford, Essex. As an Inventory Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, including receiving and processing incoming stock, managing inventory levels, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a logistics or supply chain environment, with strong attention to detail and basic computer skills. You will also be able to lift stock of varying size and weight, and work effectively within a team environment. A Forklift Licence is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus benefits including 23 days annual leave, training and development opportunities, and career progression opportunities. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for logistics, we would love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:
* Receiving and processing incoming stock
* Managing inventory levels
* Maintaining accurate records and reports
* Assisting with any warehouse tasks required - picking and packing orders, undertaking stock checks etc.
* Updating Warehouse Management System (NetSuite)
* Using handheld scanner

Requirements:
* Previous experience within a logistics distribution and supply chain company
* Strong attention to detail
* Basic understanding of computer systems
* Able to lift stock of varying size and weight
* Work effectively within a team environment
* Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
