Job Description:

Protocol Education Ltd is a leading education agency that provides temporary staff to schools across the UK. We are currently seeking an Educational Support Specialist to work with a student who requires one-to-one support due to Attention Deficient/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the student in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities, as well as supporting the student in developing social skills and promoting positive behaviour. The role also involves ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for the student, as well as supporting the student during transitions between activities and locations within the school.

To be considered for this role, you must have a valid enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process one. You should also have sound knowledge of ADHD and its impact on learning and development, as well as familiarity with different strategies and interventions for supporting students with ADHD. Additionally, you must be able to adapt and modify learning materials and resources to meet individual needs, and have proficiency in using assistive technology and specialised resources for students with ADHD. Strong observation and assessment skills are also essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding policies.

In return for your expertise and dedication, you will receive a competitive salary of £83 - £93 per day, as well as 50 online CPD courses and a £50 refer-a-friend scheme.
