About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at GreenScape Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all residential garden projects, including design, site clearance, and hard and soft landscaping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project responsibility from initial client meeting to project completion
- Ensure quality standards are maintained and monitor the client journey from sale to handover
- Liaise with clients, maintain good relations, and take final responsibility for ensuring projects are completed to their satisfaction
- Ensure adherence to company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Responsible for the operational team, including training, appraisals, and inductions
- Responsible for the recruitment of installation staff and managing subcontractors
- Support the Senior Management Team in reporting financial performance and managing risk
Requirements:
- Experience in garden landscaping, including responsibility for multiple installation teams
- Good understanding of construction in relation to hard landscaping and reasonable horticultural knowledge
- Effective team leadership and operations management experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Financially literate with experience of managing projects and resources in line with budgets
- IT literate with a good knowledge of MS Office applications
