Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant secondary school in Tameside. As a vital member of the educational environment, you will work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons and provide individualized support to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in developing effective lesson plans and resources that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance, ensuring their academic progress and personal development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a support worker or youth worker is highly beneficial.
  • A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development are desirable but not essential.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional Information:
