Job Summary: Behaviour Support Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant to join our team in Tameside.

About the Role:

As a Behavioural Support Educator, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to behavioural challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement behaviour plans that cater to the individual needs of each student.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behaviour plans tailored to meet the specific needs of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure a focused learning environment and provide one-on-one behavioural support when required.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and engaging them in strategies to reinforce positive behaviour at home.

Requirements:

  • Calm and composed approach.
  • Experience working with students facing behavioural challenges.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with young people.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
