Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport Team Leader to join our fast-paced PM Team at our Glasgow Depot. As a Transport Team Leader, you will play a key role in managing, motivating, and engaging our partner driving teams to meet our customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage and motivate partner driving teams to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Lead from the front, be visible, and committed to nurturing a team.
  • Monitor and analyze driving trends to minimize negative impacts.
  • Deliver a positive customer experience repeatedly.
  • Utilize basic routing techniques to optimize transportation operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in operating within a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, distribution, or transport environment.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbally and written) to effectively engage and motivate teams.
  • Ability to quickly understand challenges and pivot the team to minimize negative impacts.
  • Experience in basic routing techniques and monitoring driving trends.
  • Awareness and skill in delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Good IT skills (e.g., Google/Microsoft).
