Renewable Energy Engineering Summer Placements

**Program Overview**

SSE Renewables is seeking highly motivated engineering students to join our 12-week summer placement program. As a summer intern, you will work in a team focused on one of our renewable energy technologies, including solar and battery, hydro, onshore and offshore wind.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Work in a team of technical experts in your core discipline to gain exposure to the day-to-day work of our engineers
* Participate in projects relevant to your degree discipline and contribute to the development of new tools and processes
* Collaborate with our supply chain on project delivery and have the opportunity to present findings to senior leaders
* Visit our renewable energy sites, including the Tummel Hydro Plant and the Seagreen offshore windfarm

**Requirements**

* Currently studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geosciences, Naval Architecture, or Renewable Energy Engineering
* Strong interest in renewable energy, innovation, and sustainability
* Agile thinking and ability to address knowledge gaps
