About the Role

Marex Group is a leading diversified global financial services platform, providing essential liquidity, market access, and infrastructure services to clients in the energy, commodities, and financial markets.

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Analyst Lead - Budgeting and Forecasting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial management and disclosure information, including monthly board reporting packs, trend and variance analyses, and revenues and costs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning and analysis, with strong business acumen and the ability to understand financial statements and business plans. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate financial performance, forecasts, and insights to support decision-making and investor relations activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Head of FP&A and the Business and Control and Support Partners in the preparation of financial management and disclosure information.
  • Prepare financial analysis, identify and drive improvements to processes to deliver insightful, timely and accurate analysis and reporting for management reporting and external disclosures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather insightful data and identify key drivers, KPIs, and metrics for corporate planning.
  • Evaluate and enhance management reporting processes to make better use of available data.
  • Communicate financial performance, forecasts, and insights effectively to support decision-making and investor relations activities.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A Director in delivering high-quality board pack reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, implementing reporting tools, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Implement best practices to drive efficiency, accuracy, and the quality of financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar area, preferably in supporting similar businesses, with the financial and business acumen to understand financial statements and Business and Control and Support function plans.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: London, UK (remote work options available).
