About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience working at Junior Sous/Chef de Partie level and be capable of running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. Proficiency in achieving food cost targets and familiarity with current food hygiene legislation, including kitchen risk assessments, is essential.
Key Responsibilities- To work closely with the Head Chef to achieve high-quality dishes and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
- To ensure that all kitchen operations are carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- To maintain accurate records of stock levels, waste management, and other relevant data.
The successful candidate will require:
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Junior Sous/Chef de Partie.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with current food hygiene legislation and kitchen risk assessments.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor during busy periods.
