Liberty House Clinic - UKAT is the UK's leading provider of addiction rehabilitation services. Our mission is to provide excellent care and treatment, helping those suffering from addiction achieve life-long recovery.
As the Director of Care, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the therapeutic services provided across multiple UKAT centres. You will ensure that all therapeutic interventions are delivered to the highest standards, aligning with UKAT's governance, CQC regulations, and industry standards. This leadership role will require you to drive best practices, ensure compliance, and support the continuous improvement of therapy services, with a strong focus on client outcomes and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure that all therapeutic services adhere to CQC regulations and relevant industry standards.
- Performance Management: Lead therapy teams by conducting performance reviews, setting clear objectives, and providing supervision to ensure high performance and quality service delivery.
- Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to Therapy Managers, offering mentorship and opportunities for professional development. Foster a culture of collaboration and growth within the therapy teams.
- Health & Safety in Therapeutic Practice: Ensure all therapeutic services comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and assessments to minimise risk.
- Supplier & Resource Management: Oversee external provider relationships and manage therapy department resources, ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic tools at cost-effective rates.
- Budget Responsibility & Financial Oversight: Manage the therapy department budget, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to maintain service quality within budget constraints.
- Client Satisfaction: Monitor and respond to client feedback, ensuring therapy services consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
Strong leadership and team management abilities. Emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity. Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. Extensive experience in addiction and substance abuse therapy. Proven leadership in managing therapy teams. Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards. Financial and budget management experience. Proficiency with clinical management software.
