About the Role

This critical position will report to the Head of Own Brand Customer Partnerships and form a key part of the ongoing management of retailer own label products within the commercial team's portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a single point of contact for managing the administration of product and specification setup for own label new product development and vintage roll for existing products. This involves entering wine and packaging data into the customer portal and managing the artwork approval process.

You will work closely with demand management and scheduling teams to identify when existing products are due to roll vintage early enough to allow sample approval and product setup processes to complete in a timely manner, avoiding out-of-stocks during the transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end New Product Set Up and Vintage Roll processes for commercial own-label customers, including Aldi, Majestic, and Waitrose.
  • Provide a single point of contact between the customer, NAM, and Accolade Wines to manage the end-to-end process for all customer NPD and vintage roll for existing products.
  • Project manage the new product set up and vintage roll processes for commercial team own-label customers, ensuring all processes are suitably tracked, products are set up correctly, and first productions occur on the target date.
  • Implement and manage a vintage roll alert process for all existing products, ensuring the customer approval, specification, and artwork processes start early enough to avoid out-of-stocks during the change in vintage.
  • Identify opportunities to provide synergies with other processes and existing retail customers at Accolade Wines, benefiting both parties.
  • Ensure all customer specifications, artwork, reporting, and documentation storage requirements are met by the relevant portal.
  • Become the customer's primary point of contact for resolving product technical issues, maintaining the highest standards of customer service at all times.
  • Support operations, quality, and procurement departments in accurate monthly reporting for customers and follow up on discrepancies in bulk reserve alignments, QC corrective, and preventative measures for trending out-of-spec bulk wine specifications.
  • Assist the Quality department with technical documents and supplier auditing and compliance.
Requirements

Education

• Degree/HNC in a science subject preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years in a Food/Beverage Manufacturing laboratory environment.
