Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Manufacturing Engineer to join our client's innovative product development and manufacturing business supplying various industry sectors including automotive, motorsport, aerospace, marine, defence, and medical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of new products into the manufacturing process.
- Investigate material failures and implement effective solutions with production and manufacturing teams.
- Support the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Undertake technical initiatives such as material dual sourcing, material compliance, and material/parts verification.
- Evaluate industry trends and emerging technologies in manufacturing to drive innovation.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, composites engineering, or similar discipline. You must be eligible for UK Defence Security Clearance.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
- Pension scheme, life assurance, private medical cover, and 26 days holiday + bank holidays.
- Flexible working hours and an early finish on Fridays.
Location:
This role is commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Cirencester, Stroud, Bristol, Chipping Norton, Dursley, Worcester, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye.
