As a key member of our UK, Ireland, and Nordic Healthcare Systems and Technologies team, you will lead the tactical and operational daily activities of the therapy specialist team across the cluster, with a main focus on the UKI region. Your role will involve driving the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the attainment of focused objectives and targets.

Under the mentorship of the Business Unit Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of field-based Therapy specialists across OR/ICU and Medsurg care settings to achieve sustainable sales growth with existing customers and generate new business in line with agreed business and personal objectives.

This role will be both strategic and operational, shaping and informing the value story of current and upcoming product/solutions. A critical part of the Baxter vision to position ourselves as a strategic partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a high performing team, recruit, coach, motivate, and develop team members
  • Include the team in crafting a transformational journey on bringing value to healthcare professionals in their continuous improvement programs and connectivity journey, ultimately developing true customer partnerships
  • Work in collaboration with sales managers, medical, and marketing teams to develop and share the strategic direction
  • Demonstrate leadership, act as a role model, and support company values across their team
  • Develop reporting processes and collect appropriate metrics in relation to team performance
  • Build and develop relationships with key opinion leaders and promote the products and services from a clinical and service perspective

What You Can Bring

  • Clinical background or similar role experience is beneficial, but not mandatory
