About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team at The Cherwell Hospital, specialising in Orthopaedic and Ophthalmology Surgery. As a key member of our perioperative care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care throughout the surgical journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert scrub and anaesthetics skills in elective Orthopaedics and/or elective Ophthalmology
- Working effectively in a fast-paced theatre environment, prioritising tasks and managing time efficiently
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
Requirements:
- NMC/HCPC registration
- Previous experience in Orthopaedic and/or Ophthalmic scrub and/or anaesthetics and recovery
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) is desirable, but not essential
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
- A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focused service
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrated computer skills

- Competitive salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
