About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outreach Practitioner to join our team at Malet Lambert School. As an Outreach Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, providing a safe and inclusive environment for them to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with school leaders to develop and implement targeted support plans for students with SEMH needs
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and advice to staff on suitable behaviour interventions
  • Support students in achieving a successful transition back into a full curriculum
  • Contribute to the wider school community at Malet Lambert School

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to enable them to be successful in school. You will need:

  • A good standard of education, including literacy and numeracy at GCSE grade C/5 or equivalent
  • Experience of working with students with social, emotional, personal, and/or behavioural needs
  • The ability to relate effectively to students, their parents/carers, and professionals working with them
  • The ability to coach, mentor, and advise staff on suitable behaviour interventions
