About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outreach Practitioner to join our team at Malet Lambert School. As an Outreach Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with school leaders to support targeted students within the SEMH provision
  • Support students in achieving a successful transition back into a full curriculum
  • Contribute to the wider school community at Malet Lambert School
  • Support the school in achieving a truly inclusive environment
Requirements
  • Good standard of education, including literacy and numeracy at GCSE grade C/5 or equivalent
  • Experience of working with students with social, emotional, personal, and/or behavioural needs
  • Ability to relate effectively to students, their parents/carers, and professionals working with them
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and advise staff on suitable behaviour interventions
What We Offer
  • Permanent position on the TEAL Associate Pay Scale at point 11
  • Actual annual salary of £21,110
  • Working hours from 08:30am to 16:00pm Monday to Friday during the school term
  • Additional 35 hours per year for team meetings and training
