About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outreach Practitioner to join our team at East Riding of Yorkshire Council. As an Outreach Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs in a satellite provision at Malet Lambert School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with school leaders to identify and support targeted students within the SEMH provision.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote student engagement and academic success.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide a comprehensive support network for students.
  • Contribute to the development of a truly inclusive environment at Malet Lambert School.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Good standard of education, including literacy and numeracy at GCSE grade C/5 or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with students with social, emotional, personal, and/or behavioral needs.
  • Ability to relate effectively to students, their parents/carers, and professionals working with them.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and advise staff on suitable behavior interventions.
  • Valid driving license and access to a car or ability to travel between sites.
