Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reward Manager to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our overall reward and benefits strategy, ensuring it remains relevant, competitive, and aligned with the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive reward and benefits strategy that supports the company's business objectives and reflects the needs of our employees.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to the HR function and business colleagues on reward and benefits matters, ensuring that solutions are commercial, effective, and aligned with company goals.
  • Lead the annual pay and bonus cycle, ensuring that salary benchmarking, data analysis, and research are executed effectively to deliver relevant and commercial solutions.
  • Manage the annual benefits election process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely execution.
  • Oversee the benchmarking and market data framework, taking into account the broader Organisation Design and partnering with relevant HR and business areas.
  • Responsible for HR year-end reporting, including input into annual statutory reports, gender pay gap, and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Undertake additional discreet projects providing input to the Reward strategy as required.

Requirements

  • Analytical thinker with excellent decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel capability.
  • Solid data management and presentation of information to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Good contracting/consulting skills (internally and externally) to ensure projects and work are delivered.
  • Experience of using Workday or similar HR System.
